John Mirkovic, Deputy Clerk for Policy at the Cook County Clerk's Office

John Mirkovic, former Deputy Recorder for the Cook County Recorder of Deeds Office, currently serves as Deputy Clerk for Policy at the Cook County Clerk’s Office. In 2016, he launched the first County-level blockchain pilot program for government in the United States, and is a co-founder of the Illinois Blockchain Initiative and the Illinois Legislature’s Blockchain and DLT Task Force.  John has a B.S. in Political Science from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville, was an Illinois Legislative Staff Intern through the University of Illinois, and has attained a Certificate of Public Leadership from The George Washington University. He is married with two daughters.
